Ervin Munir

Ervin Munir, you little tinker! Just when you think this Norfolk chap has offered you the goods, he pops up yet again and this time with a knock-out in the form of ‘Felixstowe’. Well, where do I start? “Felixstowe”, evidently named after a town in England is a folk track about breakups, something many of us will have experienced at some point in our lives! However, there is more to this track than meets the eyes.

Beyond the narrative is an arrangement of music which incorporates old-school folk with a modern charm. The track was actually stemmed from a chord progression written by Neil Young. But, don’t let that make you think this is a replica, far from it in fact! ‘Felixstowe’ actually delves into a space of its own and it is great to witness the self-expression on display here from Ervin.
