‘She Never Made Old Bones’, by Ervin, is a wonderful example of folk music coming out of the UK. Following our discovery of this tune earlier this month, Ervin has left us rejoicing in glee with his deft use of wordplay and his distinctive vocal approach.
The release evokes a lot of strong feelings thanks to Ervin’s words, in which he discusses the harsh realities of losing loved ones and having to part with them. His vocals are in perfect harmony with his playing of the acoustic guitar, and he demonstrates the golden quality of his playing with a style that is wholly unique to himself while still being on par with the top players in the game at the moment.
