Ervin Munir has us on the edge of our seats again as he serenades us with new release ‘Going Nowhere’. This track is beautifully moving and the acoustic guitar picks in the intro lead us on a musical voyage which blends country music with a folk foundation. The vocals from Ervin are charming as ever and he lays all his cards out on the table speaking about not wanting a relationship to end.
The track picks up with vigour in the chorus with a drum cadence emerging alongside lap steel guitar hooks. There is an energy in the chorus which has a somewhat feel-good quality, quite the paradox to the lyrics which are deep and moving often speaking about longing and requiring reassurance from ones lover.
