Spectral Display’s “Runnin’ For Your Love” is at the top of its game in the electronic pop genre, and it is a fantastic reminder of why this form of music continues to get better with each new release that is made available.
Throughout the course of their history, the band has had a great deal of success with releasing a number of songs, many of which stretch back several decades. Ingeniously, despite the fact that they have been successful in maintaining a sound that was popular during their formative years, they have also been able to reinvent themselves and carve a new path that sounds incredible now. This is a contemporary piece, and they immerse us in a soundtrack of electro-pop while maintaining the energy of a nightclub.
When it comes to the aspect of exhilaration, this one is jam-packed with all kinds of exciting components and has a shimmering air about it. It has a sound that is reminiscent of European dance at times, yet the band manages to expertly mix a wide variety of influences into one coherent whole.
