Lime Juice have an indie sound which pulls me into this genre time and time again. Furthermore, the Italian group boast a quality which is hard to compare elsewhere and their release ‘Quietude’ is the gift which keeps on giving.
Musically, ‘Quietude’ excites from the instant with layers of guitars and a vocal which will have you watering from the mouth. Also, the structure is unique with the foundation staying well away from the norm in this field.
What I love most about this new release is the guitar bridge towards the end, it is enormous, and I cannot seem to stop myself from playing it over and over…
